We were looking for a new recipe for an IPA that was not a bitter west coast IPA and not a fruity double hazy east coast IPA and this is what we came up with in the bowels of the laboratory of AFT Brewery. This is a really nice not too bitter west coast IPA made with Fuggle and Magnum hops responsible for a nice bitterness. Our grain bill is upward of 30% wheat for a smooth mouth feel and the slight haze is caused by the fantastic Norwegian Voss Kveik yeast. Of course the fruity hop flavors and aroma are from Mosaic and Simcoe hops. Hope you enjoy the slight kick and smooth finish of our Midwest IPA . Be careful because sometimes the Midwest can punch you a little hard at 6.5% if you aren’t careful!! Cheers
